What A Picnic at the Park!It was like a July Fourth holiday picnic – all over again.GDREIA’s First Wednesday meeting for July was July 6 – and conducted outdoors. Members gathered at Kettering’s Indian Riffle Park for the GDREIA Summer Picnic – where the only business on the agenda was the business of enjoying a good time.The weather was pleasant and the food was abundant – from grilled hamburgers and hot dogs to sides and salads and plenty of tempting, high-calorie desserts.There was plenty of conversation, too. Old friends caught up on the news, and people talked about repairs and rehabbing. Investors recounted their latest deals – and what’s ahead. State Representative Niraj Antani of Miamisburg stopped by to say hello.Several lucky attendees took home door prizes. A few children played on the swings next to the picnic shelter.All in all, it was a great evening and a tremendous way to celebrate summer. Thanks to the GDREIA volunteers who made it happen!
