Volunteers Make the Difference
Very little happens at the Greater Dayton Real Estate Investors Association without the dedicated efforts of volunteers. It’s true year in and year out.
Some of GDREIA’s volunteers gathered recently for a “thank you” party in Miamisburg.

“You can’t say it enough: we appreciate our volunteers,” said Steve Burggraf, GDREIA’s volunteer services chair. “In GDREIA, there’s always a contribution volunteers can make,” he added.
In the same way the organization benefits from its volunteers, there are also ways volunteers benefit from offering their time and effort.
“One of the greatest things about GDREIA is the opportunity to network and learn,” said Tim Depp, president of the organization. “When you work alongside other investors, you talk about experiences in the field,” he said.
There are opportunities to contribute by helping planning committees, helping maintain the GDREIA Library, providing articles for gdreia.com and more.
“Besides, it’s fun to work on GDREIA’s projects,” Depp added.
In case you need another reason to volunteer, Depp offers one more.
“When you volunteer, you earn REIA Bucks,” he said. “You can use REIA Bucks to pay for workshops or to renew your GDREIA membership.”
