Third Wednesday Meeting -- January, 2018By Larry D. Hudson Setting Your Goals for the Year Calling it a subject “dear to my heart,” former GDREIA president
Sham Reddy devoted most of the January Third Wednesday session (1/17/18) to goal setting and planning.
The presentation included an explanation of why it’s important to set
goals, what
benefits goal-setting brings, and considerable detail on how to go about the process. Goals, Sham said, should be ones you devise yourself, and should be
specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and tangible.
Preferred Properties January’s Third Wednesday meeting also featured a short presentation on the
City of Dayton’s Preferred Property Program – an effort to highlight the city’s better maintained and managed rental properties. Attendees learned that the program is for 1-4 family properties. Qualified properties will receive a “Preferred Property” designation from the city. Details and an online application for the program are at
daytonohio.gov – and you can get answers to questions about the program by calling John Carter at (937) 333.3956.
