Greater Dayton REIA found a way to get more of a good thing during July – extending a long weekend of cookouts and celebrations by one more day. The association’s
First Wednesday meeting for July (7/5/17) was also the
Greater Dayton REIA annual picnic – a great way to keep the good things about the long holiday weekend going. The gathering, held in a recently-built picnic shelter in Kettering’s
Indian Riffle Park, provided plenty of space for the friendly rituals of summer – including expert grilling of hot dogs and hamburgers. Members brought side items to share – including salads, vegetables, breads and more – plus a wide selection of tasty desserts.
Adults at the leisurely event found plenty to talk about – from details of their latest investments and rehabs to news of family and friends. Children on hand could visit an elaborate playset (including swings and slides) just steps away – along with paths through the park. The relaxed gathering provided an opportunity to catch up with fellow investors and friends --
and a great way to wrap up summer’s premier holiday weekend.
