Alan Cowgill teaches Private Lending techniques

The best way a real estate investor can deal with the bank – is to become the bank. The was the message from Alan Cowgill, nationally-known private funding expert and property investor.
Cowgill, who lives in Springfield, shared details of his private-financing system during his appearance at Greater Dayton REIA’s Third Wednesday meeting for April (April 19, 2017).
Cowgill said he turned to private investors to fund real estate investments out of necessity – after lenders told him he had reached his limit for investment financing. Starting with his family and friends, Cowgill soon honed a presentation designed to attract private investment dollars – and provide higher returns than investors could typically obtain with competing instruments like bank certificates of deposit. Today, Cowgill uses his system to purchase properties (primarily single family homes) for resale and to hold as rentals.
